I ordered I6400 with following specifications few days ago:
Core Duo 1.83ghz
15.4" UltraSharp TrueLife WSXGA+
1gb DDR2 ram (2*512) at 533Mhz
100gb 7200 SATA HD
8X DVD+/-RW Drive with double-layer DVD+R write capability
256MB ATI MOBILITY RADEON X1400 HyperMemory
Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 802.11a/g Mini Card (54Mbps)
Mediterranean Blue QuickSnap™ Cover
Microsoft® Windows® XP Media Center 2005 with backup CD
After tax my price was 1960 CAD$! I decided then to cancel the order and upgrade to I9400 since I will be using this computer mainly for home video editing, DVD burning/watching, so bigger screen will be better for that.
With current pricing similar configuration with I9400 however would cost me over 2500CAD$ (atfter 14% tax again). Beside screen size only difference I could see is RAM at 667mHz (instead of 533mHz) and no optional blue cover. This seem rather steep price increase for extra screen size and slightly faster RAM or do I miss something here!!!![]()

Well the 9400 would have a DVI Port instead, bigger screen, faster RAM as you mentioned.... that's about it. Same Duo Core processor. NVIDIA GeForce Go 7800 Video Card as an option. Plus it has 6 usb ports.
