    Has anyone else with an inspriron 6400 got there broadcom 440x lan adapter working on windows 7?

    Mine works fine on windows XP :( nothing at all on win7 even though it says its installed fine :(

    32 bit or 64 bit? I've got a 6400 here and it works fine under 7 32 bit, Ethernet and all. Try a clean install or running Windows Update?

    My windows7 install either came with one or installed the 440 drivers from auto update during the initial installation. I don't think I installed anything post-setup on my e1505(6400)

    32bit, ive done countless installsm, how odd.... Ill try xp again, im sure it works on it.
