I'm soon going to be purchasing an Xbox 360, and until I can afford an HDTV, I'd like to take advantage of the Xbox's HD output. I have a Dell Inspiron 640m laptop with a 1440x900 screen. It has a VGA port, but I'm not sure if it only outputs VGA and doesn't accept it in. Does it accept incoming VGA signals or will I have to stick with my SDTV before I can revel in high resolution goodness? Thankies in advance.![]()

The only VGA port found on laptops is a VGA out.

the 640m has GMA950 and only a VGA OUT if im not mistaken NO lapto has VA in as sesshomaru has mentioned above
for the there are alternatives like express card alternatives
or you could try something like a tv tuner -
There are a few notebooks with VGA-In, but the e1505 isn't one of them. Though VGA-In won't that great anyways, something like HDMI would though
