This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Inspiron 8000 running W2K-only have 640 X 480 display

    On an Inspiron 8000 running W2K just installed, I don't see any setting option beside standrad VGA which gives me max 16 colors, 640 X 480 display. I installed Geforce2 GO driver (it just replaced what was already there) and DirectX 8. This should be easy, but I guess I don't remember much about W2K and how to do this.

    I'd appreciate some assistance. Thanks.
