My Inspiron 8200 would respond - it couldn't load OS XP, computer would not recognize DVD-ROM. I couldn't even try to reload OS.
So I managed to copy the image of Widnows xp on hard drive of this machine, but it still wouldn't load it - the coursor would blink on dark backround without any error massage and nothing would happen.

I went to set-up configuration (F2) and I the Bios would not allow me to change anythin (enable boot settings), so I thought that there is a problem with Bios - A03
I downloaded newer Bios version - A10 and upgraged existing one.

Machine still would not start and give me any error massage - the coursor just blinks on dark background.

    What should I do?
    Greetings,
    Bogy
