:eek:verheat: hello there i hope anyone can help. i have an inspiron 8200 and whenever i plug the cable to charge i have 2 unplug it after a full charge, if i leave it plugged the battery overheats the motherboard and the system shuts down, is this a battery problem or a cooling problem? :eek:verheat:

Is this only happening when the battery is done charging?

P-4's are known for overheating, so I'm guessing that is where your problem is. You might look into getting a cooling pad.
