    Hi everyone,
The DVD drive in my Inspiron 8200 laptop is no longer working (it plays just a very few DVDs, but most DVDs that work fine on other players and USED to work fine in my Inspiron no longer work at all).
Does anyone know where I could get a new internal DVD Drive for the Inspiron 8200 and how I would remove the old and fit the new?
    Grateful for any tips!
    James :)

I'm curious, which DVD drive do you have right now, the one which is not working fine I mean?

According to EVEREST, the drive currently in my laptop is a TOSHIBA CDRW/DVD SDR2102 8x.
I contacted Dell and they told me they no longer provide DVD drives for the Inspiron 8200 and I would have to look elsewhere...
