    Just out of curiosity, has anyone else had any problems with the video card of the 8500? I am on my third one now and wondered if it was from overheating issues.

    It could be.
    I'm on my second, now needing a third
    First one died out in Dec 2005, this one died in March of this year (sadly after the warranty expired).
    It'll work on some occasions but plenty of times it will just fail.
