    Inspiron 855 display random data during reboot

    I had a Inspiron 8500 giving me odd color and streaks of random image on screen. During system reboot, a bunch of random character was displayed such that I cannot even trigger the BIOS setup to do diagnostic.

    Any idea whether this is a graphic card issue or the BIOS chip issue?
