I have an old Inspiron 8600 that I basically have in the living room for friends to use if the choose. Unfortunately now is crawling and booting takes about 5 minutes and another 5-10 for IExplorer or Crome to start.

I am thinking of doing a clean install and I have the sticker for OEM XP Professional still underneat my laptop. Unfortunately I couldn't find the CD today. What options do I have?

There's a form with which you can request an installation CD from Dell. Sadly, I don't know the exact URL. Perhaps you could try searching for it...

You can also use a generic Windows XP Professional (ie generic OEM or retail) disk and activate it over the phone.

In both cases, you'll probably have to download the drivers off of Dell's support site as well.
