I have an inspiron 8600 and it works perfectly. The only question I have is about standby mode. As soon as I put the notebook into standby, a really high pitched sound comes out of it as long as it's in standby. As soon as I take the notebook out of standby, the sound disappears. Does anyone else have this problem or know if there's a way to fix it?

I do not have this problem with my 8600 and I use standby quite a bit. I don't think this is normal and suggest calling Dell about it.
