Hey guys, I noticed a problem with my mini

With any speakers / headphones plugged in, the sound seems about 2x as loud out of the right speaker / headphone as the left. Only 'fix' i have come across is adjusting the equalizer to be -60 to the left side.

    Ideas?

You must have some talent to isolate those speakers as they are so close to each other! Honestly though, what i was going to suggest from the title you already did, and thats probably all you can do.

What are they going to say, check your hearing? jkjk. I mean they can replace the speakers, but it is unlikely to do anything.

OP meant any speakers or headphones connected through the headphone jack

Are you sure it's not just your settings? windows xp has 'balance' but as far as i know vista doesnt..(if you are running windows)

Have you tried installing different audio drivers?

Or maybe you could try wriggling the plug, praying that you don't damage it though..

I installed the latest drivers from dell's website.

Correct, I only notice it with headphones or external speakers.
