I took a stab and ordered a ubuntu mini9 from the outlet for $219 :D Now the questions with excitement

    1. Which memory I should buy to upgrade 512MB RAM . Does ubuntu version support 2GB RAM?

    2. While I will not need it in near future, can I upgrade SSD on my own?

    3. If I connect a higher resolution LCD monitor, will that work with monitor resolution or will monitor fall back to 1024x600?

    Thank you :)

    1) Yes, 32-bit versions of Ubuntu support up to ~3.5GB of RAM. In order to utilize 4GB of RAM or more, a 64-bit version is required.

    2) Yes, you can upgrade to an SSD later on.

    3) I believe Ubuntu should have the monitor automatically working at maximum resolution. X server has undergone considerable upgrades to allow for this type of use.
