I am trying to install Windows XP Pro on my mini 9. 8G SSD drive. I thought I had all the drivers from Dells website installed, but I am getting a yellow questionmark next to ethernet controller. Can't find this driver.

Also, as far as I can tell, the wi-fi is working. But its not. It can detect and identify the wifi in the area. When I enter the password, it just sits there "acquiring network". Will not connect to internet. Also, cannot get it to recognize IP address.

Can anyone help me. I'm stuck.

Have you tried punching in your service tag on support.dell.com and finding the driver?

Or you can right click on the unknown device, go over to details, scroll down to Hardware ID's and go to pcidatabase.com and punch in the VEND and DEV ID's and see what you got then download appropriate driver.

I had the same wifi issue with my 3945ABG Intel Wifi Link card, just download the most recent driver for it.
