    Inspiron 9100 Infrared Port

    I know you have to go the system bios to enable the infrared port, but i dont know what it is talking about when it refers to mapping or wahtever.

    The options are disabled.. and com 1, com2 , etc, i think up to com 4 or something.

    What one should i choose? and what are all these comms for?

    I guess I shoudl also ask, does it actualy come with the software to use the infrared device?

    ahhh nuts. come on now! doesnt anyone have an answer for me ? lol i probably just need to use com1 or something, but i dont wana break anythign!
