Can't seem to get a straight answer from Dell tech support on this question, but does the single USB power connector (not the 3 standard USB2 connectors) at the back supply 500mA as required by the USB2 specifications? In other words, can it be connected to devices that do not have their own AC power adaptor?[?]

Sorry, that USB powered connector is also known as the D/Bay connector, a Dell proprietary standard. A new question though ... Can I connect a device that requires 500mA to any of the 3 USB connectors without having to disconnect the other devices (eg mouse)? I believe each connector supplies at least 100mA.
