    Hi everyone,

I've had an Inspiron 9100 for quite a long time. However, I have always wondered something, and need some help on this.

The laptop's fans run full blast, no matter what, at startup, at idle, coming from standby, everything!

This isn't just because of the age either, because it's been this way almost from the start. Well, okay, maybe 1 year after I got it.

Is there something I can do to stop this problem?

I appreciate any and all help on the issue! Thank you so much, in advance!

    ~Michael

How are your temps for your GPU and CPU? Can you feel good air flow at the vents where the fans are located?
