I installed driver version 71.90 then hit "detect optimal frequencies" and it give the values 395/800 (stock is 290/590). I tried these values and no graphical errors or high temps arose. So I figure some where in between stock and optimal is a good place to start. I am currently using 350/675 and feel confident this should be quite safe. In reality the 6800 GO is plenty powerful enough in stock form, unless you intend to run very high resolutions. With todays games the difference in quality is minimal at higher resolutions.

Any idea what the clocks are on the 6800 Ultra? Did they just nerf a pipeline for the ultra? Any idea's on converting the 6800 into a 6800 ultra?

The 6800 go and 6800 go ultra are two very different cards. The 6800 go ultra is built on a .11u process and has DDR 3 memory enabling it to have a 450/1100 mhz clock. The 6800 go is built on a .13u process and utilizes DDR 1 memory. Both are 12 pipeline cards but because of the different clockrates, process and memory types used, the 6800 go can never hope to get close to the 6800 ultra's clocks/performance.
