    Got a hold of a Inspirion 9300 fairly cheap, equiped with 2gb ram, Pentium M 760 2ghz 2mb L2 533fsb, 60gb or 80gb hdd, and Radeon X300.
    Questions
Its a Socket 479 mPGA, would I be able to get a dual core for it? EDIT: Just found I cant, is there a faster single core that would be cost affective to get?

I dont imagine the x300 playing anything too well, but how would it hold up for old stuff like CSS, Half Life Source, Beyond Good And Evil, and maybe Prince Of Persia?

What style HDDs do they have? Want to get a bigger/faster one.

Sorry for noob questions, first lappy. Im more of a desktop person.

The fastest processor you can get is the 2.27GHz Pentium M 780. The problem is that this chip costs a fortune. And so does it's slightly slower brother, the Pentium M 770.

Don't know much about the X300, but you can use any speed and size of 2.5 inch PATA hard drive in that machine.
