I just receive my Dell Inspiron 9300 with TrueLife WUXGA Screen. When I surf the internet, all the pictures look fuzzy and not clear. I tried to lower the resolution and see, but pictures still look the same. But when I see my own pictures, it looks ok. Is there any way I can do to make the pictures look sharper, or that's way it is. Thank you for the help!!

If your own pictures look sharp but pictures on the internet do not then the culprit is probably the quality of the downloaded images. This makes sense because pictures on the internet typically have their quality and size drastically reduced to decrease download time, bandwidth costs, etc... Compare that to a camera image over 3megs in size. The type of picture can make a difference too. A photo is not as sharp as a 2d picture because the photo has only one point of focus.

Try an image that is clear and has minimal compression, like this fractal: http://www.cosy.sbg.ac.at/~gwesp/fractals/snake-large.png

Are you running on the native resolution?

Yes, I'm running on native resolution. I just solved the problem by reset DPI to 96 and reboot. pictures look much sharper but text get much smaller :( .
I also try another way by reset DPI back to 120 and run FireFox with no problem. so I think IE does not support high resolution LCD.

    Thank you all the helps!!

Yes, FF is very good. I also highly recommend checking out Opera. One of my favorite features is the way opera lets you zoom into pages. It will actually scale the images approprately, it doesn't just change font sizes.

I am one of the people that uses FF, I love it...as compared to IE, there is slowdown just like IE, but alot safer and stays quicker, also has a built in pop-up blocker which is nice.
