    Hi All,
I was just wondering is there any speed/performance benefit to upgrade from my current 60 gig 7200 7K60 Hitachi hard drive to say a Seagate 7200.1 or Hitachi 7K100 (both are 100 gig drives) ???

    Thanks...shkj

I wouldn't unless you need the space. I'm sure the newer ones are a little faster, but not worht the $300.
