Hello. I own an Inspiron 9300 with the 40gb hdd. I decided that I wanted to completely format and reinstall windows the other day. So I put in my Windows XP Pro SP2 disk and rebooted. Deleted the partitions and formatted the whole drive. After format and copy of files needed for windows the computer reboots. Once it reboots I get an error of "Missing or corrupt Ntoskrnl.exe, please reinstall this file" Or something like that. I cant remember exactly. Ive tried numerous times with different copies of windows and it still does the same thing. Can someone help me remedy this please? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    Thanks for the quick reply.
I tried this before, and I got a message saying "Access Denied" or something of the sort.
