    Hi All,
I currently own a Dell Inspiron 9300 with the below specs. I am thinking of upgrading to a Dell Inspiron M1710 with the new core 2 duo processor and the better 7900 gs graphics card. One of my biggest problems with my current laptop is the hard drive space and upgrading seems to be more expensive than I would want to spend on an almost 2 year old laptop. My other concern is that I am a gamer and the current games I play are not really running very well on what I have.
I play a lot of games ranging from World of Warcraft to RFactor, to Neverwinter Nights that are currently all running medium to low settings on my current rig. If I were to upgrade to the new M1710 do any of you think that these games could be played at higher settings? And would it be worth the cost?
I really wanted the XPS system but that is way too far out of my budget and there is a deal right now if you spend over $999 you get 20% off on the Inspiron M1710. So what does everyone think? Is it worth the upgrade or should I wait until something new comes out or wait and save the money for the XPS system? Thanks.

    Inspiron 9300 Specs:
    Intel 2.0ghz Mobile Processor
    1GB of 533mhz Memory
    60GB Hard Drive
Nvidia 6800 Go (Regular not the Ultra)
    Windows XP Pro
    DVD Burner.

Why not wait till the DX10 cards hit the market? Maybe 3 months or so, till the 8600go is released. Also you'd get a 800 MHz FSB. I think your system can still make another 6 months, so there is enough reason for waiting.
