    Hi. I want to buy a 17" screen laptop.
    I found this Dell Inspiron 9400 is it good?, does it worth $1173USD (it doesn't include taxes)??.

    This are the specifications.

    and will I be able to use programs such us dvdshrink, vlc player, BS player, AVG, utorrent, or will I have problems with Vista????

    You can run all those applications petty comfortably in that setup. The price looks good too.

    I would get the standard ram that comes with it and get ram from 3rd party vendors like newegg etc. and shave a few more bucks off

    with OC on the gs-card you get nearlly same performance like a m1710 with a gtx-card. (i have clock my card up to 9000 in 3dmark05. nice)

    ps. dont take Vista...Vista sucks bigtime, if you want to play hardcore games on your rig.....(you get less "gaming power" with Vista...Vista eats your Ram, and your FPS in games)...take XP.
