Hi everyone, I have a Dell 2407WFP widescreen monitor and I've just tried connecting it up to my Dell Inspiron 9400. When the monitor turns on and I go on websites the whole page starts magnifying to 1000%. Is this a driver error or something? I've got the latest BIOS A09 drivers and the Latest ATI Radeon x1400 drivers. Another thing is that the scroll bar keeps scrolling down when I'm on website too. I'm running Windows XP Pro with SP2. I've connected my monitor up to a different monitor 17" (1024 x 768) which worked fine. Any ideas? Regards, Ryan

Sounds more like a mouse issue. The new Logitech mice have a zoom function and can obviously be responsible for scrolling. I can't understand what the monitor would do to cause that. Have you tried with another mouse or inserting it into another USB port?

Hmm, I'm not sure because I'm using the touch pad at the moment on the laptop and its still having the same problem. I've looked on the Euro Dell website but there isn't any driver updates for mouse&keyboard or my graphics card. I have the latest drivers on the monitor so I'm pretty stuck for ideas really.
    Regards,
    Ryan

EDIT: I disabled the touch pad and added a blue tooth mouse instead. It works fine now, I think the touch pad was acting like a magnifier/scroller for the screen. Thanks for your help mini :)
