Are you able to determine where exactly is this hissing sound is coming from? It could be your capacitor within the notebook that's leaking fluid like in my previous 4150
-
its in the area of the cpu fan, hard to pinpoint but definately related to the power. Only comes on without the battery. Any other advice on some test i could run? Ways to fix it?
-
sounds like a defective battery - did you check to make sure that yours was not one of the batteries subject to recall last year?
-
No actually, I got it apr assumed it was good, where do u check for the recalled batteries?
