    Inspiron 9400 noice level?

    I am looking at buying a 9400, but a very important thing for me is the level of noice a compuer makes. Anyonw know about the 9400?
    I am going to buy one with a nvidia 7800.

    Well ive had mine nearly a week and its very quiet, and i have it in my room when watching tv and to be honest i dont hear anything from it unless i put in a dvd or cd and then its still very quiet, Im really impressed with this lappy and if it keeps performing the way it is it will of been worth every penny.

    I agree, the E1705, I9400 and I9300 are great when considering the noise level.

    Yes, the noise level is great. The cpu fan hums alittle when the fan is on high, but other than that, a quiet computer.

    Yeah, very quiet indeed....Only once have I caught the noise of the fans but can't remember what I was doing.. :(
