Im planing on travel alot with my to be 1520 (US model) and was wondering if the AC power kabel is removable from the AC-DC unit, what kinds of spec does the AC-DC unit have (input hertz, voltage and output voltage, current) and how does the laptop power plug looks like? Ive got 2-3 year old dell charger which i would like to be enabel to use.

btw when will 1525 land and will it be worth to wait for it in terms of price?

Do you own the i1520 yet? I'm assuming not?

The i1520's charger, like almost all laptop chargers, is universal. So it will work anywhere in the world as long as you have a compatible "cord" (portion between the wall and the power brick).

About the 1525, just buy when you need the technology and you'll be fine. As something better is always around the corner ;)

The 1525/1526 will not be a major improvement the only thing they add is Ubuntu Linux. It's safe to get a 1520/1521 now.
