    Inspiron E1405 extended battery size?

    does it stick out the back?

    how long does the standard battery last

    how long does the extended batt last?

    any1 got any good pics of how much it sticks out of it does.

    The 9 cell does stick out the back, and what Dell says is that the standard battery lasts like 4 hours while l'm guessing the 9 cell would last maybe 6-ish or more.

    Check out dells page for the E1405 and see how much it sticks out.

    The 9 cell battery sticks out the back around 3/4 of an inch. I have an XPS M140 and it has the same shell and everything as the E1405 and same battery. I get around 6.5hrs of battery life with the 9 cell. It's very nice. I would be happy to take some pics for you later if you want.

    I would really like to see some pics of it pleeezzz. If you could post some, that would be appreciated.

    Oh, by the way, what's that think that is at the back of the e1405 on the images on Dell's website. Is that the 9-cell battery, or some other hardware design?

    i have the 9 cell and i get about 5 hours too, where as my friend with the standard gets about 2hours
