Im wondering if its worth saving up some more money to get the D810 instead of the E1505

The D810 has a trackpoint, and infrared, and a standard 3 year warranty while with the E1505 I get Windows XP MCE, Firewire, an SD card reader, plus its much cheaper.

The specs are going to be relatively the same, 512mb of ram, 60gb drive, DVD burner, the base processor available

Well definately a Dell Latitude D810 cause its powerful comes standard with a ATI video card instead of that Intel Exreme Graphics chip. The 15.4 SXGA+ Display is a must have due to its extreme contrast and vivid colors and brightness. Plus its Rugged like a toughbook and very solid. Definately worth the investment

Why not the D820 since they are the sam price. The Latitiude will offer better quality and US based support though it will cost more.

Yea.. I agree with zazonz. The D820 is better. The D810 still has an older PM CPU. Where the D820 has a core duo. You can also get it with the 512MB NVIDIA Quadro NVS 120M. It should be quite a bit better than the X600.

What will you be using the computer for? If it's jsut gonna sit on your desk, you should probably go with the e1505. If you plan on taking it places, the D820 is a good choice.
