    Hey all,

My 7900 GS card in my Insprion E1705 has an issue. I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium, and whenever I go onto battery power and try to watch mp4 videos, (like iTunes podcasts) my screen will start flickering making the video unwatchable. When I plug the AC adapter back in, this is resolved, but this is really annoying, since I can't watch any of these videos.

Now, a couple days ago, I reverted my drivers back to the MobileForce M6 Enhanced drivers, and everything stopped flickering. But I'm worried that these aren't exactly the best Vista drivers, and could kill my framerates in games, (Oblivion, Halo 2 Vista, CoH)

So anyone experienced this too? And if you did, what did you do to resolve the problem?

If someone can give me a link to a better Vista driver for nVidia cards, please do so...and make sure the driver gives you the NVIDIA Control Panel...I hate not having a control panel...

Under what drivers did the flickering occur?

Also, have you tried newer drivers from LaptopVideo2Go ?

The flickering occured when I was using the official WDDM driver from microsoft through Windows Update...which was really weird...since that's an OFFICIAL driver, but yes, I did try the LaptopVideo2Go, but I don't know if I tried the new ones...if someone could post a link, I'd be very grateful. =]
