I got my new Inspiron 94000 laptop today (2Ghz), but I have a few concerns:

    1) When I run CPU-Z it says that the core speed is 997.6Mhz.. does this mean that a dual core processor is 2x1Ghz physical processors?

    2) The RAM is reported as running at 333Mhz, but I ordered 667Mhz RAM, what's going on?

    3) The frequency of the Level 2 cache is being reported as 997.6Mhz, is this how it's ment to be?

    1) No, they are not 2x1Ghz. Mobile processors use Speedstep technology which reduces the cpu speed to conserve power. Start up an application and watch it increase.

2)Your RAM operates at 333Mhz, but as it is DDR, it is clocked twice for every cycle efectively doubling the bandwidth, giving it a speed rating of 667.

    3) Same answer as #1
