Hi Everyone,
I just recieived my "new" M101z certified factory refurbished "not"book computer todayThis baby is replacing my decrpid, slow, and very annoying HP Mini 210. My question for you dear forum reader, is do you have a laptop bag suggestion for this 11.6" "not"book computer? I have a $75 Dell gift card to put towards it, so one that is available at Dells site would be preferred. Thanks in advance!

I got this case for a HP dm1z and its a perfect fit for a 11.6 inch. Quality is top notch and has pockets for power supply, mouse etc.. Amazon.com: rooCASE 10-Inch and 11.6-Inch Netbook Carrying Case (Deluxe Bag - Black): Electronics
Incidentally, I returned my HP dm1z back for an issue with the keyboard. I am glad I did, since HP will release a completely new dm1 on Jan 9 that is completely reworked model. It will include AMD's new fusion CPU with integrated ATI. This is a major CPU upgrade and you will see most manufacturers updating their 11.6" models in the coming weeks. This CPU is should provide more graphics power and more importantly, better battery life then the neo 325, 625 and k125 processors. HP's new model will now have a full size keyboard and much easier to read keyboard. Lid will fold all the way flat now. As far as I can tell, HP listened to all the con's of its last generation system and worked them out on this new model. I'm just telling you this since the news of these new systems just came out a few days ago and the newer 11.6 models that are going to be coming out now are not just a incremental progression but a huge leap in technology. We should see big improvements in performance and battery life. And in HP's case, a much better designed housing, keyboard etc.. its looks to be a killer machine.. You might want to just consider returning what you have. I'd hate to see someone just buy into current generation and see just weeks later, something much more promising. I have not seen any prototypes of dells new 101z with the new fusion but I guarantee it will come, and soon. And if they follow what Sony and levono are doing on their new 11.6 models coming out in the coming weeks, they will stretch the keyboard from side to side (full size keyboard). Dell will do this to, they have no choice the competition is already worked that in their new models.
A look at HP's new dm1 with fusion chip set and full size keyboard that will start at 449 dollars and come standard with 3 gigs of ram and 320GB HD on Jan 9. Hands-on Video: New HP Pavilion dm1 Sports AMD Fusion APU, Slick RedesignAttached Files:

) HI DesertNM,
Thanks for the information! I wrestled with the idea of waiting before getting my netbook replacement, but ultimately had to buy now. I am going on a buisness trip near the end of the month, and need to have it setup and ready to go before I leave. The M101z is not my primary computer, or even my primary laptop (I have an Alienware M15x for that), so it just needs to be able to do basic productivity, play some WOW, and not annoy me with how slow it is. (With the exception to basic productivity, Atom netbooks don't do any of those things.)
I imagine that Dell will come out with an 11.6" AMD Fusion series soon, so it will be interesting to see how it goes. Personally, I am boycotting HP due to their mishandling of the nVidia fiasco. I can't give my money to a company that steals from its customers.
BTW, do you happen to be in (from) New Mexico? I grew up in Roswell, and still have family there. Thanks again!

What you have to remember is the main advantage to the fusion is battery life. After reading some real numbers on battery life it looks like the newer chip gets about 30 percent longer battery life or 1.5 hours more.. which is very significant. CPU performance is around the same but graphics performance is a bit more. Heat is reduced. So the two enemies of laptops are heat and poor battery life. The fusion has improved considerably on both these fronts.
I agree, HP did not extend warranties and do more with the nvidia fiasco. I know Dell did more but they diffidently had their share of problems. I think the dell M1330 probably had the worst record for nvidia gpu failures.
