    There has been alot of discussion of Inspiron (1420, 1520, etc.) screens. I'd like to get opinions from Matte owners on how they feel about their screens.

    Hope they like 'em, that's what I went with... I know even though the quality of the picture will not be as good as a normal screen, I know that (for me at least) I'm okay with that as long as there is no glare. I'm just one of those people that is always noticing the glare in everything, even if it doesn't bother anyone else.

    I love the matte screen. There is not a "lack" of contrast, so I am not missing the glossy screen. I get absolutely ZERO reflection. I can't even see a reflection of my hand when it's right in front of the screen. I haven't tested outside, but inside (in all lighting), the matte screen is great.
