    Hellow people , i just got my laptop 2 days ago , and i downloaded all drivers from dell for my model and installed them but i got a problem with my DVD-RW .
    HL-DT-ST-DVD+-RW GT32N
    I can't find a driver for it , i can't burn files on DVD with it , any help woud be appreciated , thnx in advantage .

    Uhh...it doesn't show up in my computer or doesn't work? Perhaps you have a defective drive?

    I search google all night , i am not the only one that has this problem , people with dell xps have same problem with driver , some people say to try write at 2,3 x instead of 8x i will try that also .

    Well what burning program are you using? Windows? ImgBurn is a good program that is free and you can manually set burn speeds.

    I use nero and here is the rezult .

    Then my DVD-RW remain freezed i hear it spinning the DVD , i can't stop , eject , cancel , only shut down laptop to stop the DVD-RW spinning my DVD.

    I was trying to write data on a DVD that has allready data on it and multisassion opened but seems like i can't write data .
    I took a blank DVD and write on it data , it worked .
    That means my DVD-RW does not support to write data on multisassion disks .
