Does anyone know the exact Intel card that is used for wireless N networking? The site lists this:

    Intel 4965AGN Wireless-N Mini Card

But in the actual confiruration, it doesn't list it like that, it says:

    Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-card

Is this the same card? And is it true for both the 1520 and 1720?

I'm debating both models, and I am also wondering if the N card will work with my DIR-655 D-Link Xtreme N router.

Any information to clarify this is welcome. If I can confirm the card, the Intel site will have more details.

Yes, it's the same card. Yes, it will work with any Draft 2.0 (or newer) N router, or A/B/G router :)

Ahh good...the Dell site was saying the card needed a 5ghz router, near impossible to find here as common hardware right now in the USA, for receiving an N signal. But the Dell site for the 4965 AGN card stated that it works with both 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz router transmissions.

So yea, I hope it's t he 4965 card...I can't imagine Intel makes a wide variety of cards for that purpose.
