    Hi all, just having a look at the new Inspirons.

    What warranty do most people go with? Like most people, I'm not made of money... :) So I don't love the idea of paying $400 for a 3 year complete care warranty...

    Also, the sound option, I think it is a $20 upgrade to the Audigy software? But is this something I can just download off the net? And is it really any improvement over the standard audio??

    3 year CC. It's worth it. It's only $133 a year and that's how much (if not more) you would pay on average if something goes wrong. I am not afraid to take my $2300 computer outside; I know that I can be dropping it every day and having it fixed the next business day.
