My Inspiron 1545 used to connect to my office network using WIFI.
Suddenly it stopped working, I can see a 'cross' on the top of the system tray. I also cannot connect to internet of course.
My office router is working as I tried to use my phone connect to the WIFI successfully.

So it is sure my laptop wireless card's problem.
Any way to troubleshoot that or check the settings?

I am running Windows 7 for few months. The wireless connection just failed recently.

You can try removing the drivers from your laptop and reinstalling them from Dell's support page.
