How much do the XPS1330 and Inspiron 1520 weigh and how much battery life (casual and gaming) will you get out of a 6/9 cell battery for each? I've been looking for this info everywhere and it's really the deciding factor between these or a macbook pro and I can't find it ANYWHERE! Do we not know this yet? Have they released no information?

Their site is so effing confusing on top of everything else.

    Thanks in advance,

    IRO

Battery life is hard to quote since there are so many factors that can influence it.

With a 9-cell, I see no reason why the Inspiron 1520 can't get 3:30+. More if you go with integrated video.

MBP is about 3:30-4:00 right now, depending on backlight and what you're doing.

The XPS M1330 starting weight is 3.97lbs, almost 4 pounds, with the following: 13.3" WLED display, Slot-load DVD burner and 4-cell battery. It will get heavier when you choose the discrete graphics option and other things.

The Inspiron 1520 starts at 6.40lbs, almost 7 lbs, with the following: 15.4" WXGA LCD, integrated graphics, 1Gb Memory (2 dimms),CD-RW/DVD and a 6-cell battery

If both systems have the 9 cell battery, the 1520 is around 2-2 1/2 lbs. heavier. Battery life will vary depending on your screen and graphics choices, but should be 3-4 hours at the very minimum for the extended battery with either computer.
