hey guys, I need to replace the cooling fan on my dell inspiron b120 but I have one question.... do I need to do any programming after I'm done with the job? or I just need to turn on my pc and its going to start working like always?
I need to take everything apart to get to the cooling fan, that includes, taking the hard drive off, the keyboard, speakers, dvd room.... EVERYTHING. so I was just wondering if I need to do any programming after the job is done or I just need to put everything back together, turn my laptop on and ready to work again?

Take out the old fan, put in the new one, make sure it's plugged in properly, and that's all you have to make sure of.

what are you going to replace the fan with?
If it's not stock, are you sure it will fit and do you know if it has a higher CFM? -

It should work fine then.
you wouldn't need to do any programming, or anything else.
