    Inspiron e1505 wont start

    I have a inspiron e1505 it won't boot. Took out hard drive got 2 beeps. took out battery still nothing. Lights come on like its going to. Hard drive spins up. Fans come on. No screen. Hooked up external monitor still nothing. any clues.

    I went through this about a few months back. I did the same things you did-- took out hard drive, battery, put them back in, restart, etc. In the end, I took out the RAM sticks, put them back again, and it worked.

    I finally got external monitor to work, still laptop screen doesn't work. I pulled hinge cover off and reseated video cable, stll nothing on screen. Blue screen comes up and says cant find video driver.
