I own an Inspiron E1705 with 2 gig of ram and the latest bios update.

My former CPU was an Intel Core Duo T2500 2.00GHz/2M/667 SL8VP.
    I recently upgraded this to an Intel Core2 Duo T7200 2.00GHz/4M 667.

It works but it does not show any performance improvement. I am running Windows 7 32 bit. The bios read out and the Information read out show that the processor is fully recognized.

    Any suggestions?

I mean you aren't going to really get a performance upgrading to a T7200...
