I just bought an Inspiron 1545 from the Dell Outlet UK website and although it came with Vista Home Basic installed and a recovery DVD, there was no Vista COA on the laptop base. Should I raise this with Dell support or is it quite normal for the laptop to not come with a COA - all my other Dell laptops have come with the COA on the laptop base.

My past three Dell laptops had the COA sticker inside the battery bay, meaning you have to disconnect the battery to view it.

Thanks for the replies - yes it is under the battery - not something I've seen before and certainly not obvious though I suppose it does mean that the COA sticker won't get rubbed away like it normally does on laptop bases.
