When configuring the mini 12 , there is no option to select 2 gig RAM , only 1 gig RAM possible when ordering.

Can you upgrade to 2 gig ?

The Mini 10 and the Mini 12 both have an internal component which consists of a processor and memory soldered to a PCB. To replace the processor or memory, you have to replace this entire PCB, and replacing one of the two means replacing both. It may be the same board for both machines. As of now, as neither the Mini 10 or Mini 12 can be configured with 2GB of memory, it's impossible to get 2GB in either without extreme soldering skills.

The good news is that if they ever release this board with 2GB of memory, you should be able to upgrade it.
