The US has something called a 'lemon law,' which basically states that if said manufacturer cannot keep your equipment working during the entire warranty, and cannot properly repair it, you are entitled to a brand new replacement or a full refund for the price you purchased it for.

Well, if it is sold in the US then it is based on US laws. If you are from another country, you'll have to look up the local laws as that is what would apply in that situation.

Usually the best way, in my experience, to bring it up is just say something along the lines of 'this laptop has been repaired like 10 times, is there anything different that you can since obviously you cannot repair it/honor the warranty?' Don't be mean or rude, because that ticks them off, but asking what could be done because you basically have a useless computer, is a good way to start. I cannot stress enough the part of 'being nice' though.
