Does anybody have a problem with the touchpads being to sensitive especially when typing? I can't seem to find a way to set it to ignore "palm touches", the way you can with Synaptics pads. I tend to click a lot by tapping the touchpad accidentally when typing. I know the software has some settings to combat this, but I still face the problem. Additionally, my wireless USB mouse software has taken over the mouose control panel, making it impossible to adjust my touchpad settings.
In short, can anybody help? Thanks!
Oh yeah, I'm using the i8600c.

Go to Start, Control Panel, Printers and other Hardware, and find the place to configure the mouse.
Somewhere in all those options, there's a place to configure that stuff how you want it. You can make it more/less sensitive, disable tapping, etc.
The feature that will help you the most I think is a timer that locks the tap feature of the touchpad for a certain amount of time after a key is pressed. On its longest setting, it takes several seconds for you to be able to tap (it still moves the pointer around though) on something after hitting the keyboard.
