I have an Inspiron 8200, Windows XP, 1.7 gig and 1G ram. I'm not a big gamer, recently bought Empire Earth III. I did not think about the graphics. The game will not run. Requirements are GeForce 7000 series. Can I replace my current VIDIA GeForce 2 Go graphics card? Will my current system support the newer card?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but NO. You can't upgrade the Graphics capability of your laptop. Whilst Integrated graphics solutions such as yours are more than adequate for most home and office based tasks, they do not have the power to run modern games. Unfortunately due to the comparatively high integration of components in a laptop, even though they utilise the same basic architecture as their desktop equivalents, Plug & Play graphics cards are not yet mainstream for notebooks.

Yea there's no way that you could upgrade your gpu for a 7000 series one. Sorry. There's like 5 generations of video cards in between them not to mention that your processor (a P4 I presume) would be a major bottleneck as well and prevent you from playing any modern games.
