Inspiron with QXGA? Service Tag lookup missing info

Thanks for the insight. I was unaware.

On the other hand I have been scouting for Inspirons with certain high resolution LCD screens - UXGA and WUXGA and recently I came across one who responded with the following:

    LCD: 2056 x 1538 pixels
    Service Tag 1C3B111

I looked up the Service Tag on Dell Support the parts lookup does not show any LCD / Graphics like the typical laptop lookup (typically shows the LCD type XGA, etc). Am I missing something here?

Was there any LCD with the above screen res available on the Inspiron series. Seems like a QXGA.

The Inspiron 4100 can have either a 14.1" XGA, SXGA+, or UXGA lcd. The only laptop I am aware of that comes with QXGA is the Thinkpad R50p, and even then it was a CTO option so not many are out there. For the record the highest resolution Dell laptop's have ever had is WUXGA on their 17" and 15.4" models.
