Anyone have experience running PS CS2 on a Dell Inspiron E1505? What is your experience? Good or bad? This is the computer I am looking at and I need smooth and speedy performance of CS2, but I have heard that the Inspiron line doesn't hold its own compared to other models when running powerful programs such as this. Perhaps its better to go with a Latitude?

GPU, CPU, RAM are GPU. CPU, RAM in whatever model computer you buy. No matter what you get, you'll need 2 MG of RAM to efficiently run Photoshop (this is only IMHO). Get the best video card you can get in the e1505 and you'll be fine.

Photoshop is mostly CPU/RAM intesive. I use CS2 almost everyday on my notebook, and its pretty quick due to the fact that CS2 takes advantage of Yonah's second core.

The Core Duo runs Photoshop very well in my opinion.
