Purchasing a Logitech Z-5500 and am wondering what kinda sound card would be best to get...using the 1520 listed in my sig.

First...i know the Z-5500 has the PLII that turns headphone jack audio from the laptop into artificial 5.1. So what exactly are the benefits of getting a sound card for this sound system? How much better is the quality?

Placing big order with newegg, and kinda bummed that they don't have any express sound cards on the site. So it looks like im gonna have to settle for a USB one. Any recommendations as to which USB card is best bang 4 buck?

Is there such thing as an express tv tuner that is a sound card aswell?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out here.
